Costs on this page are estimates built from our own deliberately conservative salary assumptions, not payroll data and not an official statistic.

How the cost is computed
Every attendee is priced per hour: a salary midpoint for the country, scaled by seniority, times 1.25 as a rough allowance for employer social charges, benefits and overhead, divided by 1,736 paid working hours a year. Add the hourly figures of everyone in the room and multiply by the meeting length in hours. The 1.25 is deliberately low: in Spain, employer social security contributions alone exceed 25% of gross salary, so the real cost is usually higher.
The salary midpoints are our own deliberately conservative assumptions for knowledge workers, not payroll data and not an official statistic. Treat the output as a defensible ballpark, not an accounting figure.
A worked example in euros
A weekly sync with 6 people in Spain: four mid-level, one senior and one lead, 60 minutes. A mid-level hour costs about 27,36 € under these assumptions. The calculator takes one average seniority for the whole room; the table splits it by person to show the arithmetic.
| Group | People | Cost per hour each | Per hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mid-level | 4 | 27,36 € | 109,45 € |
| Senior | 1 | 38,31 € | 38,31 € |
| Lead / Manager | 1 | 49,25 € | 49,25 € |
| Whole meeting (60 min) | 197 € | ||
What the number does not include
The 197 € is one occurrence. A weekly meeting runs about 46 times a year (less leave), which is why the calculator shows an annual figure too: 9.062 €. It does not price the interruption to focused work, or the value of what the meeting decided.
